"Nice"
"This jacket is a nice, lightweight raincoat. The outer material is silky soft and not stiff. I wore it in pretty substantial rain and it was water repellent and fast-drying. The hood is very functional as it can be cinched for a nice fit that doesn't blow off your head in windy weather. I like that there is a cinched waste design. It's not adjustable, so if you size up for room, you will lose that tailored shape. It does provide some insulation for warmth. Overall, a great coat. Do not size up if you want a more tailored look."
"I think this is a great rain jacket, the quality of the material is nice and durable. I like that it's gathered in the back to give some shape. It's really comfortable and breathable. I didn't get hot or sweaty at all for zippers are big and durable. This jacket does not make any noises or squeaking while walking and moving. I wore this in a rain/sleet storm and I stayed completely dry. My only suggestion is I would've liked another inch or two in the sleeve length but I also do have long arms. Fits true to size."
"The rain jacket left a very positive impression. The material is truly waterproof—you stay dry even in heavy rain. It is lightweight, comfortable, does not restrict movement, and is perfect for both walks and everyday use."
"It is good for light rain. The pockets are good size and are able to hold my phone. Zipper is very smooth and I like the curvy design at the waist."
"I was so happy when I received a free Women's Rain Away Anorak Rain Jacket by Free Country in size large and color Taupewood. First, let me start by saying that the color of this jacket is so pretty, it reminds me of a dusty taupe color. Luckily it rained today in Southern California, so I was able to try out my jacket all day, and it kept me warm and dry. I also love the full front zipper and the two large pockets on either side. I love when my jacket has pockets large enough that I don't need a purse. And let me tell you I was able to fit my keys, phone, wallet, lip balm and had plenty of room for more. I got plenty of compliments and I love how I can easily wear this during the day or even if needed at night. There is a hood and it is lined so, this is my new favorite jacket for taking the doggies to pee-pee in the nighttime or early morning. I plan on getting a couple more in different colors so, I think everyone needs one of these in their life."
"This jacket is so great. Durable and rain resistant. Fits perfect to size and very comfortable."
"As a busy mom in my late 30s, I wanted to share an honest review of the Women's Rain Away Anorak in Mocha by Free Country. First, I'll be upfront—the package arrived quite a bit later than expected, which was frustrating, especially with a packed schedule and kids to manage. That said, once it finally showed up, I was genuinely impressed. I absolutely love this raincoat. The """"mocha"""" color is not your typical brown—it's more of a soft, muted purple-brown that feels really flattering. It actually complements my blonde hair and lighter complexion better than I anticipated, which was a nice surprise. Fit-wise, I was honestly shocked. I ordered a size large, and at 5'0"""" and about 160 pounds, I sometimes struggle with things being too long or bulky. But this jacket fit beautifully—it's comfortable, not too oversized, and still gives enough room to move around (which is essential when you're constantly on the go). Functionally, it does exactly what I need it to do. I've worn it out in the rain multiple times, and it kept me completely dry—including my hair, which is a huge win. The hood actually stays in place and provides good coverage, which is something I don't always get with rain jackets. Overall, despite the delayed shipping, I'm really happy with this purchase. It's practical, flattering, and mom-life approved. ****Thanks to Free County for the free rain jacket! ****"
"I think this jacket is really well made for the price. It has all the little """"bells and whistles"""" that make a rain jacket good quality (zip pockets, etc. ) and the fabric quality is really nice. The """"mocha"""" color was a bit lighter in-person than online, but it is a perfect neutral to go with almost anything (and I, personally, like a lighter colored raincoat, since the usual black is just extra-gloomy on a rainy day). I would have easily given it a five-star review if not for a couple of fit-issues (that may not affect others the same way they affected me). 1. I am 5'6"""" and 140 pounds. I assumed I would be swimming in the size Large I received. But it was pretty much the right size. So I would say it runs small, and I recommend sizing up. 2. The arms were too long on me (and I would assume might be too long on any woman the same height or shorter than I am). It's possible they were only too long because it was a size Large, instead of my usual size Small, but since I think size Small would have been too tight, I'm not sure how to fix that. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out a good way to roll up the arms without it looking silly, or immediately unrolling with movement. It is a quality-weight, lined jacket. Probably best for Fall and Spring rainstorms. It would not be light or breathable enough for a Summer rainstorm here in the south. Especially not if you are someone who overheats easily like me. All-in-all, I do recommend this jacket, ESPECIALLY at this price. :) --I received this product for free, in order to test it and give my honest opinion."
