If you are looking for

"If you are looking for a great vest this is it. I'am 5'6 140# and a medium fits true to size with room for layering. The stitching is well done no loose tread. This vest has plenty of insulation for fall/winter. The zippers are nice and pull smooth. If you're looking for a vest this is the one you need. I would highly recommend this vest."

When I put it on

"When I put it on I immediately felt wrapped in soft comforting warmth. The truffle color on the smooth side has a submiminal dark green cross hatch pattern which gives an attractive depth and dimension to the color. The other side is lined with a soft fuzzy material with furry lined pockets which keeps my hands warm in the cold. There is a thick padded collar to keep my neck warm as well. All pockets, except the hand warming pockets, secure the contents with sturdy zippers. Overall, the vest rings of quality."

The QUALITY really surprised me.

"The QUALITY really surprised me. I wasn’t expecting the fleece to be so thick/warm, which was a nice suprise. The stitching and material is clearly very premium."

This is the kind of

"This is the kind of vest that earns its spot in the kit once the temperatures start dropping. I packed it for a couple of weekends in North Idaho and around Glacier National Park in Montana, and it quickly became one of those pieces I kept reaching for whenever the sun disappeared behind the mountains. A good vest is all about versatility. During late summer and shoulder-season camping, you want something you can throw on around camp when the temperature drops, but that won't feel bulky or get in the way once you start moving. This vest hits that sweet spot. I wore it in the mornings and evenings around camp, and it added enough warmth to take the chill off without making me feel like I was wrapped in a sleeping bag. I also gave it some harder use while hiking, climbing, and biking. It handled all three well. The materials and stitching stood up to being dragged through the usual mix of dirt, rock, and general campsite abuse, while the cut kept me from feeling restricted when moving. The fabric feels comfortable against the skin, and it did a respectable job of managing sweat when things heated up. It's not a piece I'd choose for high-output activity in warm weather, but that's not really what it's designed for. For cool mornings, breezy ridgelines, and hanging around camp, it works. And then there's the part that doesn't always make it onto the spec sheet: it looks good. When it's time to trade the trailhead for a mountain-town coffee shop, this vest punches well above its weight class. It has enough polish to look like a considerably more expensive piece without losing that outdoorsy, functional feel. You could wear it downtown in Sun Valley, Idaho, grabbing coffee, and then throw it on again that afternoon while you're out in the Sawtooths firing up a single-burner camp stove before a big ascent. That's ultimately what makes this vest useful. It's not trying to be the warmest or most technical layer in the closet. It's a versatile piece that works across the whole day—from camp, to trail, to town—and that's exactly what I want from a good puffy vest."

Overall a decent vest. The

"Overall a decent vest. The weather in MN has been in the 80’s since I’ve received this vest so I can’t speak to its warmth. The zippered pockets on the outside are fantastic, however the inner pockets do not have zippers, so something to keep in mind if planning to use it as a reversible vest. I’m 6’3 and 200lbs on the nose, and this fits dang near perfect over a regular shirt. It’s a bit tight with a bulky sweater. It’s slightly longer than other vests I’ve owned which is very nice for us tall folks. I also like that the wast has elastic, even if it’s not adjustable. The one thing I don’t care for is that the vest makes it look like I have a large mid-section when zipped up, but looks great when unzipped. Overall, decent vest."

This vest is great! The

"This vest is great! The sherpa lining is nice and comfortable and very warm. Probably not enough for a winter but definitely suitable for fall. Fit is also true to size. No need to size up for this outerwear. One thing to note is that I ordered the truffle color and I didn’t notice it in the pictures, but there is a grid pattern. Not a deal breaker, but it does give a bit of corporate vibes to me. So just giving yall a heads up if you didn’t notice it from the pictures like I did. Overall a great vest! Definitely a grab and go piece as it starts to cool down"
