"After paying close attention to the measurements, I purchased a Medium over a Large because I wanted a more tailored looking jacket with these features. I have other jackets for layering. I am 5' 10", 185 lb with a 40. 25" chest and 33" waist. Sleeve length and hem are perfect. A little snug in the chest at first wearing two light layers but it seems to relax upon wearing and returns to shape after. The 9 percent spandex is a difference maker. Sizing is very accurate. Looks great. . . . very happy with purchase!"

Great Quality Softshell Jacket

"The jacket is really good quality, much better than anything else I could find under the $80 range. My only gripe is that I'm tall and these jackets always run about 2 inches short for my build. Otherwise, you honestly cannot beat Free Country for price and quality. I am 6'3", 225 lbs. and bought a size Large. The photo is me wearing size large. I have tried Extra Large and it doesn't get any longer but is significantly wider."

How cold is this jacket rated for
Free Country’s temperature rating is subjective. Since everyone has a different tolerance and comfort level, depending on temperature, we don’t feel that a temperature rating or ranking of our products can realistically instruct you on how warm or cool a vest/jacket is for your taste. Perfect for outdoor activities, most of our customers find great comfort with its built-in wind and water resistance features during high or low precipitation days or overcast conditions.
