I light rain, the water beaded up and was not absorbed. As for warmth, I live in Southern California, and it's been pretty toasty here lately, so didn't have much opportunity to test it. I did, however, wear the jacket in a freezer at work (-10 degrees F), and I was pretty comfortable. It appears to trap body heat pretty well."
