"I really love this jacket! A friend and I agreed that we would hike all winter long. I was looking for something that would allow me to do that and also work for other seasons without adding additional insulation. This is perfect. The small is generous enough that I can properly layer with wool base layers, and a puffer vest and not feel like I'm wearing a girdle, yet a perfect fit on it's own. The blue is such a great color. . . I've get a few compliments every time I wear it. One odd thing though. . . it has a tendency to hold wrinkles so I wouldn't pack in a backpack! Regardless, I would absolutely recommend this jacket!"

Both the Stormtech and Trailmist belong to Free Country's "Super Softshell" line, meaning they have the same structure of a 3-layer bonded fabric that is wind and water-resistant, featuring a four-way stretch outer shell and a cozy "Butter Pile" fleece lining. Difference is their design: StormTech has a reflective tape on the sleeve pocket& interior drawcord to cinch the waist.
