National Account Manager

Free Country, an active lifestyle apparel clothing brand specializing in outerwear, active wear and swim, is seeking a National Account Manager.

Customer Management & Planning:
  • Present new product ranges and partner with existing retailer customer base to grow sales/build strategic partnerships.

  • Work with design team, analytics group, marketing and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

  • Stay current on industry trends, retailer activity and merchandising strategies.

  • Meet/exceed projected sales goals.

    New Account Development:
    • Prospect for new clients – Increase brand distribution and retailer touchpoints.

    • Work with key stakeholders to build personalized and relevant offerings for retail partners.

    • Build relationships, resolve objections and negotiate appropriately.

    Administrative:
    • Forecast and meet sales targets.

    • Work closely with Sales Planning and Design on customer KPI’s.

    • Track and record activity on accounts.

    Qualifications:
    • Team Player, Positive Attitude, Big Dreamer.

    • NY based working out of Bryant Park office.

    • 4 yr. college degree

    • 4-6 years proven success in Sales/Account Management roles.

    • Apparel industry HIGHLY preferred. Not mandatory for “great fit” candidate.

    • Strong proficiency in retail math, planning, and sales reporting/analysis.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
