VP of Sales – Men's Division

Currently we are seeking a strategic, growth focused, and experienced team member to lead our men’s division as the VP of Sales. This person will have player/coach responsibilities, as they’ll directly manage business along with leading the growth trajectory of the men’s team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop category growth plans and division goals to exceed corporate objectives.
  • Cross functional communicator that can collaborate across all departments to progress organizational strategy.
  • Build and garner customer advocacy on joint business plans to delivery sustainable growth.
  • Partner with product development and merchandising to build a product assortment that delivers profitable sales growth.
  • Stay current on industry trends, retailer activity and merchandising strategies.
  • Monitor category/division activity and provide feedback/recommendations for action (retailer segmentation, product mix, expansion, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Four–year degree, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years consumer/retail sector sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of team building, and people leadership required.
  • Business Development leader who can build a book of business while also growing existing customers.
  • Apparel experience STRONGLY preferred.
  • Excellent communicator (oral and written) who can inform, inspire and calm as needed.
  • Advanced negotiating ability.
  • Passionate and persuasive leader with the ability to influence at all levels (both internally and externally).
  • Strong mathematical/critical thinking skills with a knowledge of “retail math”.
  • Analytical by nature (systems and software)…with the ability to review data and build a strategy around findings.

  • NY Office Based

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
